Born on December 11, 1931, in the tranquil village of Kuchwada in central India, Osho's life journey is one of fascination and spiritual awakening. He grew up as the eldest among eleven siblings in a family deeply rooted in Jain customs. Right from his early years, Osho stood out for his curious mind, constantly questioning societal norms and delving into deeper truths. Even in his youth, he explored various meditation practices in search of clarity and enlightenment.
At the age of twenty-one, in 1953, while studying philosophy at D.N. Jain College, Osho experienced a profound enlightenment that set him on a lifelong quest for spiritual understanding. Graduating with top honors in Philosophy from the University of Sagar in 1956, Osho's intellectual brilliance earned him recognition as the All-India Debating Champion and a Gold Medalist.

Transitioning into academia, Osho served as a professor at prestigious institutions such as the Sanskrit College in Raipur and the University of Jabalpur until 1966. During this period, he also devoted himself to elevating human consciousness, addressing large gatherings and leading meditation camps across India.
