Ayushmann Khurrana is an Indian actor and singer who has been named one of the world's 100 most important people. He has gone a long way from being the winner of the popular television show MTV Roadies to being a brilliant and inspiring actor.
Ayushmann Khurrana
was born on September 14, 1984, as Nishant Khurrana, until he was three years
old. He is the son of Poonam, an MA-qualified homemaker, and P. Khurrana, an
astrologer and astrology author. Ayushmann also started writing and reading as
an interest.
Ayushmann
Khurrana was born and raised in Chandigarh and holds a master's degree in mass
communication from Panjab University's School of Communication Studies. For
five years, he was a founding member of DAV College's "Aaghaaz" and
"Manchtantra," both active theatre organizations. Among the festivals
he has directed and earned plaudits for are Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay), Oasis
(Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani), and St. Bedes Simla.
Ayushmann
Khurrana participated in a five-year theatrical program after being a founding
member of active theatre companies in college. He eventually started performing
in street plays. He earned various awards for his performances, including Best
Actor for his role as Ashwatthama in Dharamvir Bharati's Andha Yug.
Following his
post-graduate studies in journalism, Ayushmann Khurrana began his career as a
radio broadcaster at BIG FM in Delhi. In 2007, he received the Young Achievers
Award for his work in Big Chai-Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann. Following
numerous additional MTV series, Ayushmann transitioned into television hosting
with India's Got Talent, a fantastic talent-based reality show. His other
projects include Music Ka Maha Muqabla, a singing reality show, and Just Dance.
Vicky Donor,
Ayushmann Khurana's debut film, was released in 2012. He had made different
preparations, such as attending workshops and increasing his relationships with
medical specialists. Most notably, he sang "Pani da ring," a song he
wrote some time ago. As a result, Vicky Don became a huge hit, making over 610
million dollars. Rediff.com wrote in its review, "Khurrana's frank
personality and roguish visage guarantee his sharp street drollery works like a
breeze." This film earned him the Filmfare awards for Best Male Debut and
Best Male Playback Singer.
His acting
abilities are evident in films such as Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Bareilly ki Barfi,
Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Dreamgirl, and URI-the-Surgical Strike. As a consequence,
he received two important awards: the National Film Award for best actor and
the Filmfare Critics Award for best actor. Ayushmann expertly captured every
character, from funny comedy dramas to spectacular criminal thrillers.
