Alec Baldwin is the oldest and most well-known of the Baldwin brothers, who are all actors (the others are Stephen Baldwin, William Baldwin, and Daniel Baldwin). Alexander Rae Baldwin III, the son of Carol Newcomb (Martineau) and Alexander Rae Baldwin Jr., a high school teacher and football coach at Massapequa High School, was born on April 3, 1958, in Massapequa, New York. He was born in Ireland and is of Irish, English, French, Scottish, and German ancestry.

Alec Baldwin has enjoyed a career in TV and cinema for over three decades. He is most known for his appearances in 30 Rock and has had parts in Beetlejuice, Glengarry Glen Ross, and The Departed. Recently, he gained attention for his portrayal of Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

Authorities said that he was appearing in a western film called Rust in Santa Fe, New Mexico, when he shot a prop handgun, killing Halyna Hutchins, the director of photography, and wounded the director.

Cinematographer Hutchins, 42, was rushed to hospital, where she was confirmed dead by medical staff, officials said, while director Joel Souza, 48, was taken by ambulance and treated for his injuries.
He has allegedly left the hospital.

During the 2016 presidential campaign, he returned to television to portray candidate Donald Trump on the US comedy program Saturday Night Live. He maintained his skewering imitation after the 2017 inauguration until Trump’s loss in the 2020 election.
