Motivational Quotes by-"Abraham Lincoln"

Abraham Lincoln was born in the year 1809. He is best remembered as the 16th President of the United States. He was a defender of equal rights, and he paved the way for slaves to be emancipated in America. This enormous feat did not occur immediately. Throughout his journey to the highest office in the land, he failed several times. His litany of successive failures includes failing in business in 1831, having a mental breakdown in 1836, and being rejected in his presidential bid in 1856. Abraham Lincoln was no stranger to failure and rejection. Rather than using these indicators to justify surrender, he refused to quit trying his hardest.

Abraham Lincoln lost his job when he was 23 years old. He also lost his attempt to be elected to the State Legislature at the same time. Following this, he had another huge setback when, at the age of 26, the love of his life, Ann Rutledge, died. Failure and difficulties began to repeat themselves in his life. He lost his campaign to become Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives after three years of this. Despite all of his failures, he was not about to give up easily. He was resolved to work even harder and persisted in his efforts. However, he failed once more. Lincoln also failed in his effort to become Commissioner of the General Land Office in Washington, D.C., in 1848, at the age of 39.

Despite a string of setbacks, he remained driven. Ten years later, at the age of 49, he was defeated in his attempt to become a United States Senator. Of course, Lincoln did not give up despite his personal, financial, and political setbacks. Lincoln was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 1846 when he authored a plan to abolish slavery. He was elected President of the United States in 1861, at the age of 52, and has since become one of the most renowned failures to ever occupy an office in the United States.

His image can also be seen on the five-dollar note in the United States. He had countless rejections, but he remained tenacious and did not let them shake his confidence. He worked harder after each defeat, and his never-say-die mentality has been his most valuable asset in his success story.

Abraham Lincoln's life demonstrates that the quantity of rejection you get does not define you. You can still achieve success. You will achieve your goals if you work hard and are persistent. Failures and setbacks are unavoidable in life. What counts in life is your capacity to face these challenges with confidence. When you are committed to achieving your goals, success is never far away. Your efforts and hard work will undoubtedly pay off handsomely one day. Never give up hope after a failure; instead, keep working hard and paving the way to your success story.
