Anupam Mittal
Anupam Mittal is a business executive, angel investor, and former actor from India. Mittal is well known for founding Shaadi.com, Makaan.com, Mauj, and Mobango, a matrimony website, real estate platform, and short video application. Anupam Mittal rose to prominence in the media following his appearance as one of the shark judges on Shark Tank India; since then, he has been often featured by the media and seen interacting with prominent Indian figures.
Mittal is a well-known Shark Tank India entrepreneur who has publicly proclaimed his desire to assist young Indian entrepreneurs and said that startups and entrepreneurship would dominate 2020-2030. Mittal is one of India's early techpreneurs in India who has started online enterprises even before the internet boom. Under his parent firm People Group, he has also produced Bollywood movies like Flavors and 99.
Mittal earned recognition when he starred as one of the sharks in the reality television series Shark Tank India. During the first season of Shark Tank India, Mittal has invested ₹5.338 crores in 24 enterprises. Mittal has been known as one of the fair sharks and gained the notice of media and fans for it. During a Shark Tank India episode, while chatting to one of the participating entrepreneurs, Mittal stated that he should not have sold more considerable equity, a choice that he is regretting until now.
Early life and education
Mittal began his career as a product manager at MicroStrategy in 1998. He continued with the firm for four years. Mittal had become a multi-millionaire in his early 20s with the first dot-com boom when his company was valued at $40 million and had acquired a Ferrari automobile. After the fall of the dot-com bubble, he faced enormous losses and had to move back to India.
Mittal began Sagaai.com as a matrimony site with a total capital of $30,000, which was then renamed Shaadi.com to align with the business line. He acquired the domain Shaadi.com in 2001 from someone for $25,000 and concentrated on developing a company around scheduled weddings since around early 2000, the notion of love marriage in India was not acceptable. Later realized that there was an intense obsession and tremendous pressure to be married in India, and there were few options to locate a life mate in the nation. He continued to concentrate on the online company despite modest development initially, and within the first year, Shaadi.com was able to obtain its first 100 weddings after concentrating on NRIs.
Personal life
Mittal was married on 4 July 2013 to his long-time lover model Aanchal Kumar at Jaipur palace. The couple has one daughter. An article published in GQ India disclosed that Mittal is also a part of a boat racing squad, Team Sharks.
Mittal is renowned for his luxurious lifestyle, and he owns a variety of high-end luxury automobiles like Lamborghini Huracan, Audi S5, and Mercedes Benz S-Class. He dwells in an upscale suburb, Cuff Parade in Mumbai, and has excellent property there.

Even when the media came behind to seek his comment following Ashish Chanchlani's Shark Tank India parody video, he answered to ignore him and remarked that even he has to do something for his bread and butter.
